The
Accounting Reporting Analyst will perform all or
some of the
following Job description:

Assist department in producing data
in a variety of formats including
electronic files, reports or
spreadsheets to maximize efficiency
using various reporting tools
-
Serve
as "power user" to query data,
create simple databases and for
Report Writers
-
Perform system administrator
function for reporting tools
-
Document project management
requirements and monitor progress of
projects for Controller's Dept
-
Provide support for project
execution and implementation
-
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
-
Implement and maintain controls for
reporting environment (e.g., support
access, reconciling systems and edit
reports)
-
Perform SOX testing for significant
applications/spreadsheets within
Controller's Dept.
-
Maintain an inventory of SOX
financially-significant applications
and spreadsheets
-
Participate in vendor demonstrations
and provide insight into the
selection process
-
Ad
hoc requests, reporting and
projects.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Accounting Reporting Analyst Job
Ability to consolidate, analyze and
summarize detailed data for all
levels of management, BTMU and
regulators in a variety of formats
Advanced/Expert
in Excel, MS Access, Power Point,
Business Objects and other reporting
tools
Ability to work effectively with all
levels of management to discern
business and reporting requirements
Flexibility and ability to handle
changing and competing priorities
Familiarity and experience with
database design strategies and
packages
Proficiency with Oracle suite of
products
Excellent communication (both
written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of internal
controls over financial reporting.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Accounting

degree

7+ years business or analytical
background, with technical reporting
emphasis

Project management experience.
