Job Description:

The Corporate Accounting Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Manage team of five covering diverse corporate level activities

• Establish and maintain revenue recognition policy

• Provide guidance and training to Operations Finance and Operations Management

• Review contracts and arrangements with top customers to ensure revenue is being recognized in accordance with Company policy and to identify potential matters/trends not sufficiently addressed in the Company’s policy

• Assist Operations with revenue recognition for unique or complex transactions and new types of arrangements

• Oversee the monthly worldwide consolidations process

• Coordinate close timing and matters with worldwide corporate finance centers

• Review consolidation, elimination and certain corporate level entries

• Assess the impact of changes in functional currencies and changes in legal entity/operations structure on the consolidations process

• Approve worldwide Oracle chart of account changes

• Manage and review staff’s work related to: Annual spending budget for worldwide Corporate Finance functions; quarterly spending forecasts and comparison of actual to forecast for worldwide Corporate Finance functions; preparation and recording of estimated revenue reserves; preparation and recording of profit in inventory elimination; completion of government (e.g., U.S. Census Bureau) reports, preparation and submission of schedules/analysis to external auditors, preparation of certain portions of quarterly and annual SEC filings

• Manage the quarterly review by Credit Manager and Corporate Controller of bad debt accounts to determine value of reserve

• Review quarterly earnings press release and analyst call script and slides for CFO.

• Business degree in Accounting.
