The Cost Accounting Analyst will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Assist in the management and supervision of plant cost accountants

• Work with 3-4 plant cost accountants in multiple locations

• Work closely with plant managers to support manufacturing and sourcing

• Insure that the month end accounting close and financial reporting is completed timely and accurately

• Perform account reconciliations (monthly / quarterly)

• Perform analysis of costs to support the Company – including:
  manufacturing productivity & variances, plant expenses, product line, gross margins, shop stats, inventory, cost of quality, Work in Process (WIP), Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting

• Perform annual cost accounting events – including: physical inventory, annual cost roll (Standard Costs), manufacturing budgets

• Support of audits

• Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a finance related field

• 2 years experience in accounting

• Experience with JD Edwards and ERP system.
