The
Functional Associate (Claims Accounting) will perform all or
some of the
following Job description:
-
Handle all aspects of assigned
accounts, including balancing,
processing, clearing errors,
researching outstanding items, and
validating information in the claim
system
-
Review assigned bank accounts for
exceptions, working closely with the
Treasury Management department to
meet their specified deadlines
-
Receive and mail daily P&C claims
checks
-
Process pull checks and special
request related to claims checks
-
Process manual and special payment
request for the Claims Areas
-
Work
closely with both internal and
external staff and clients to
provide check status and detail as
requested
-
Provide a very high level of
customer service for both internal
and external customers, and clients.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Functional Associate (Claims
Accounting) Job

2 - 3
years accounting experience in an
office setting
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
and Excel
-
Detailed oriented, with ability to
handle high volumes of work as the
need arises without sacrificing
accuracy
-
Moderate to advanced PC knowledge

Good
data entry skills

Strong customer service skills
-
Problem-solving skills

Excellent organization skills
-
Ability to multitask and meet
deadlines

Good
communications skills.
