Job
Description:
The
Lead Accounting Analyst will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Responsible
for analyzing and preparing the
company's FAS123(R) calculations and
entries
-
Responsible for loan fee accounting
including testing the amortization
engine and coordinate with other
groups when questions come up
-
Assist in reviewing application of
principles, concepts, and practices
of GAAP Accounting standards in the
area of Stock Based compensation and
FAS91
-
Assist with the planning,
organizing, and coordination of
monthly and year-end close processes
-
Prepare management information
reports and ad hoc analyses as
required
-
Support other functions including
the Treasury Accountant and Lead
Financial Analyst
-
Participate in other analytical
projects
-
Oversee some Corporate Accounting
sub-ledgers and reconciliations of
complex accounts and sub-ledgers to
the general ledger.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill

years of accounting experience
-
Knowledge of FAS123(R) and FAS91
-
Thorough understanding of the
accounting principles and strong
analytical skills
-
Organized, success driven and
possess strong work ethics and
attention to detail
-
Ability to multi-task and balance
priorities while also focusing on
bringing projects to completion
-
Self-starter, team player and
problem solver
-
Strong work ethic, initiative and
attention to detail
-
Solid
verbal and written communication
skills
-
Proficient in using MS Excel,
knowledge of Peoplesoft a plus.
