Manager-Alternative Investments Accounting Job Description

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Manager-Alternative Investments Accounting  will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Responsible for overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly Hedge Fund accounting functions of a group of (8-15) Investment Accountants

  • Prepare and/or review annual and semi-annual shareholder reports and monthly financial statements

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns, semi-annual reports to the SEC, proxies, registration statements, and year-end audit analysis schedules.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Manager-Alternative Investments Accounting Job

  • Ability to meet deadlines and accuracy

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, and balance the routines imposed by regulations with the changing daily requirements of client hedge funds, custodians, and prime brokers

  • Strong facility with numbers and accounting frameworks

  • 3 years job related experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership skills.
     

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Manager-Alternative Investments Accounting Job

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics
  • 6 Accounting credits.
