The
Mergers and Acquisitions Senior
Accounting Manager is responsible for
various projects related to mergers and
acquisitions, inter-affiliate corporate
transactions and other projects as
assigned by the Assistant Controller.

The
Mergers and Acquisitions Senior
Accounting Manager will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
-
Perform
various tasks associated with
mergers and acquisitions including
due diligence, investigating and
solving accounting and operational
issues, identify and solving
integration issues, documenting
various aspects of proposed or
completed transactions, interfacing
with other groups within the bank to
identify and solve issues and
ensuring proper controls are
maintained
-
Work
with various groups on issues
related to inter-affiliate
transactions
-
Manage teams assembled for various
groups for a project
-
Keep
manager advised of status of
projects and issues.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
For Mergers and Acquisitions Senior
Accounting Manager Job

7-10
years of experience
-
Big 4 public accounting experience
-
Significant experience with the
accounting aspects and due diligence
for mergers and acquisitions in the
banking industry
-
General accounting knowledge plus
in-depth understanding of those
accounting pronouncements relevant
to mergers and acquisitions
-
Excellent communications and
interpersonal skills
-
Strong management skills
-
Ability to exercise excellent
judgment
-
Strong investigative skills needed
for due diligence
-
Ability
to
travel as needed and devote the time
required for projects that require
this.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Mergers
and Acquisitions Senior Accounting

CPA required.
