Principal Accounting Coordinator is
responsible for reconciling accounts,
researching outages by working with
various departments and ensuring items
are cleared timely and accurately.
Job
Description:
The
Principal Accounting Coordinator will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Settle and reconcile various
accounts for DREM (Deposit,
Reconciliation, Exception &
Maintenance)
-
Reconcile & resolve outstanding
items on accounts by utilizing
Microsoft Excel & the Checkfree
Frontier Recon Plus System
-
Research outstanding items within
DREM by utilizing various Bank
Systems and reports to obtain
detailed information
-
Post
Adjusting Entries to General Ledger
to resolve exceptions by using
Spreadsheet Loader and processing GL
tickets
-
Post
General Ledger System Suspense
Transactions for Bank Systems
-
Understand upstream and downstream
impacts to account reconciliations
within DREM
-
Ensure CORE guidelines, aging
policies and appropriate reporting
is completed as necessary
-
Perform Variance Analysis on account
balance fluctuations for month end
and quarter end
-
Document and regularly update
account procedures and process flows
-
Manage multiple deliverables and
deadlines appropriately.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

General knowledge of cash,
suspense/clearing, and sub-ledger
account reconciliations and General
Ledger systems

Strong analytical skills, with a
demonstrated ability to integrate
information from various sources to
solve problems

Demonstrated ability to maintain
effectiveness in constantly changing
environment

Checkfree Frontier/Recon Plus system
knowledge

PeopleSoft General Ledger system
knowledge

Fidelity Banking system knowledge.
