Senior Analyst-Accounting

Job Description:

The Senior Analyst-Accounting will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Responsible for performing monthly & quarterly analyses and reconciliation of various P&L and Balance Sheet accounts for wholly owned and unconsolidated markets

  • Responsible for recording Mergers & Acquisition transactions in accordance with US GAAP

  • Perform due-diligence on impending acquisition transactions by reviewing financial information. Interact and work closely with Business Development, Tax and Legal departments by keeping them abreast of all accounting issues

  • Ownership/Management of certain accounting processes including, performing analyses and reconciliations of all intangible accounts

  • Fully involved with the preparation of financial statements at Legal Entity level as needed

  • Support Tax department on various Legal Entity accounting issues

  • Prepare supportive schedules and record journal entries

  • Assist in the General Ledger monthly close procedure and provide sound variance analyses to management on both Areas and HQ level

  • Support External Reporting, Partnerships, and Tax departments on various account analyses

  • Perform special projects and adhoc analyses as needed to accomplish goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Senior Analyst-Accounting Job

  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals

  • Four years of diversified accounting experience

  • Well-developed analytical and interpretive skills

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently, including follow-up and carry-though of work assignments

  • Detail-oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employees

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

  • Exceptional organization skills

  • Ability to adapt to new procedures, policies and systems

  • Ability to make decisions or recommendations that contribute to the overall success of work assignments.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Senior Analyst-Accounting Job

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting.
