The Aortic Aneurysm Nurse Practitioner will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Participate in the care of aortic patients as a member to the Cardiothoracic Surgery team

• Use cutting edge technologies in treatment of aortic disease: percutaneous aortic valve replacement, endovascular and hybrid aortic aneurysm/dissection repair

• Assist in management and long-term follow-up, following surgical or transcatheter intervention.

• Full command (verbal and written) of the English language

• 2 (two) years acute hospital experience

• Perceptive acuity and physical ability to perform all direct and indirect patient care functions including walking, sitting, standing, bending and light lifting.

• Master of Nursing Degree

• Current State Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License.
