The Enterostomal Therapy Nurse will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing ostomy surgery, patients with established ostomies, and patients with skin/wound problems

• Select/mark stoma site, observe/report stoma condition

• Coordinate care of patients complex draining wounds, fistulae, drains and tubes

• Intervene clinically for patients with various staes of skin breakdown

• Report changes/updates to physician and healthcare team

• Make recommendations for a plan of care.

• 4-5 years experience providing direct patient care to patients undergoing ostomy surgery, patients with established ostomies and patients with skin/wound problems.
   

• BSN required, MSN preferred
