The Nurse
Educator - Surgical Center will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Function independently as a
management team member to identify
problems and solutions

Report to director and implement
approved plan to correct
deficiencies in staff and daily
operations

Monitor staff competence and
professionalism and provide
necessary training to ensure
appropriate skill level
-
Coordinate all aspects of care in OR
to ensure the appropriate supplies,
instruments and equipment are
available as needed.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Nurse Educator -
Surgical Center Job

One
year recent experience in the
operating room
-
Basic
knowledge of airway management
techniques and EKG rhythm
recognition with treatment
modalities
-
Current knowledge of anesthetic
agents and related medications
-
Thorough knowledge of nursing
procedures and terminology
-
Ability to perform acute nursing and
clinical duties
-
Ability to adapt to changing
situations under pressure
-
Ability to communicate effectively
with patients, physicians and
employees.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Nurse
Educator -Surgical Center Job

Valid
State registered nursing license
-
ALCS
certification and current BLS
certification.
