Description:
The Nurse
Navigator will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

Provide clinical assessment services
to referral sources, families and
patients to determine the
appropriate level of care needed for
potential services within Cancer
Treatment Centers of America
continuum of care
-
Help
families and patients have a better
understanding and orientation of
Cancer Treatment Centers of America
-
Field
any concerns or questions referral
sources, families and/or patients
may have to optimize the disposition
of the patient
-
Act
as the patient/family advocate
throughout the course of treatment.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Nurse Navigator Job
-
Oncology experience
-
1-year experience in Care Management
and/or similar role
-
Strong organizational and
communication skills
-
Prior
admissions or intake experience
-
Acute
hearing to assess patient needs and
answer inquires on phone
-
Good
visual acuity is necessary to read
patient charts and computer
monitors.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For Nurse

BSN
in Nursing
-
Current State RN License.
