The Registered Nurse-MSC will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff

• Responsible for coordinating the care of patients, consulting other disciplines of the health care team as indicated

• Function collaboratively with the medical staff and the other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care

• Adhere to all nursing policies and Company standards, and proactively strive to maintain and improve quality outcomes

• Responsible for facilitating patient care, anticipating patient care needs, individualizing patient care and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate.
     

• Effective technical skills for the provision of safe, appropriate care i.e. cardiac monitoring and interpretation

• Knowledge of 12-lead EKG's

• Advanced pharmacology knowledge, and advanced assessment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work proficiently in multiple areas and locations depending on need including: ICN, Newborn Nursery.
