The Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery will perform all or some of the following Job description:

• Provide professional nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit

• Coordinate care planning with other healthcare disciplines

• Render individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs

• Act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care

• Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals

• Participate in hourly rounding

• Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school

• Current CPR (BLS) certification

• NRP certification
