Job Summary:
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will be
responsible for planning, preparing,
issuing and controlling production
schedules and coordinating with material
requirements to ensure a controlled flow
of approved materials timed to meet
production requirements.

The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will advise
management of the status of work in
progress, material availability, and
potential production problems to ensure
that personnel, equipment, materials and
services are provided as needed

Schedule
equipment and personnel
-
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will confirm
material supply and demands
-
Prepare
work orders or purchase requests for the
production or purchase of components or
parts based on a master production
schedule
-
Shop load
and inventory requirements
-
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will coordinate
interdepartmental activity with quality
assurance, manufacturing, purchasing,
engineering, inventory control, traffic,
etc.

Serve as
project coordinator for individual craft
overhaul
-
Lead
craft
checks
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will
participate in tech manual reviews
Responsible for review of drawings for
accuracy
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will
lead work
package reviews
He/She
will
contribute to the development of new
concepts, techniques, and standards
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead will be
considered expert in field within the
organization.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Planner-Scheduler Lead Job
-
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead should have prior
experience with LCACs and overhaul
support
-
Prior
military or operational experience with
the Navy preferred
-
Computer
literate and proficiency in Microsoft
applications
-
The
Planner-Scheduler Lead should have
excellent communication, interpersonal
and presentation skills.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Planner-Scheduler Lead Job

Bachelor's degree in engineering or
a related scientific discipline plus
10 years directly relevant work
experience
-
Master's degree plus 9 years
directly relevant work experience or
doctorate plus 7 years of directly
relevant work experience.
