Admissions Scheduler Social Work Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Admissions Scheduler Social Work will be responsible for contacting potential students to qualify and schedule leads for the admissions counselors; maintaining absolute professionalism on the phone with potential students; customer focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a passion for changing lives through education. 

Job Description:

The Admissions Scheduler Social Work will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work will contact a high quantity of prospective students (100+) from web based lead generation

  • He will determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based on qualifying questions

  • He/She will e-mail correspondence to prospective students to follow up on their inquiry

  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work will set 5-7 appointments per day

  • Participate in admissions team activities and events

  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work will capture data correctly in Company database and reporting and forecasting on a frequent basis

  • He/She will develop a deep understanding of Company program and processes.      

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Admissions Scheduler Social Work Job

  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work should have 0-1 years customer service experience, administrative support, or extensive phone experience
  • He/She should be able to perform telephone appointment setting and qualifying leads
  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with high energy level and strong self-motivation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong and positive rapport with widely diverse potential student population
  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work should have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • He/She should have the ability to focus on specific quantifiable goals and deliver goals on a consistent basis
  • He/She should have the ability to prioritize and multi-task responsibilities at all times
  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work should possess good time management skills and be very organized
  • Some familiarity with a customer database system
  • Possess the ability to adapt quickly while on the phone with potential students
  • The Admissions Scheduler Social Work should have the ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.  

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Admissions Scheduler Social Work Job

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
