Job Summary:
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler will
be responsible for developing and
maintaining an integrated master
schedule, work breakdown structures,
schedules, interdependencies, critical
path, milestones, budgets, and resource
loading for large, complex programs
using the MS Project tool.
He/She will
work with
Program/Project Managers and Cost
Center Managers in the development and
management of program/projects.

The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
will participate in the development and
management of project budgets and
resource loading
-
Perform
Critical Path Analysis and report
results to the Project Team
-
Provide
Weekly Project Status updates including
Earned Value Performance (ACWP)
-
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
will work with Project Team to develop
Recovery Plans
-
Perform
Risk Analysis on the schedule when
necessary
-
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
will participate in Program Proposals
-
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
will participate in Continuous
Improvement events and projects.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Engineering Program
Planner-Scheduler Job

The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
should have 5+ years working with
large-scale government projects and
programs
-
2+ years
of increasing project planning and
scheduling responsibility including a
successful track record developing and
maintaining an Integrated Master
Schedule (IMS), work breakdown structure
(WBS), network dependencies, and budgets
-
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
must be an expert in MS Project, Excel,
and MS Office Suite
He/She
should have successful track record of
Project Management including Change
Management, Risk Management, and Issue
Control
The
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler
should have
experience working on government
contracts
Possess
strong
communication skills, teamwork, and
negotiation skills
Strong
ability
to achieve immediate and long-term
goals.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Engineering Program Planner-Scheduler Job

Four
year degree preferred, but not
essential, in Business
Administration or Engineering.
