Field Scheduler Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Field Scheduler will be responsible for performing field scheduling for multiple projects. 

Job Description:

The Field Scheduler will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Field Scheduler will facilitate multi-company interactive planning sessions

  • He/She will prepare integrated CPM schedules

  • Update CPM schedules

  • The Field Scheduler will analyze CPM schedules

  • Recommend work arounds and schedule improvement ideas

  • The Field Scheduler will participate in job walks and update surveys in the field

  • Communicate schedule status regularly via formal and informal meetings and reports

  • The Field Scheduler will interact with engineering and construction personnel to understand issues and conflicts impacting schedule.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Field Scheduler Job

  • The Field Scheduler should coordinate earned value system with schedule updates
  • He/She should have 7 - 15 years of project controls experience
  • He/She should be expert in Primavera P6 software as a user
  • The Field Scheduler should have experience in construction processes and sequencing
  • Refinery or chemical plant facility construction experience
  • He/She should have small/ mid-cap project experience
  • The Field Scheduler should be excellent communicator
  • Possess the ability to operate well in a multi-company team environment.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Field Scheduler Job

  • BA or BS or related experience.
