The
Imaging Scheduler will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:

The
Imaging Scheduler will schedule
Pediatric and Adult Patients for Imaging
outpatient services across the MHS
system for all modalities to include
MRI, Ultrasound, Vascular, Nuclear
Medicine, PET/CT, CAT scan, Diagnostic,
Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology,
and Breast Health Center
He/She
will coordinate the scheduling directly
with multiple departments, to include
Sedation, OR, Short Stay, Radiation
Therapy, Oncology, Speech & Hearing,
Echocardiography, EEG, GI Lab,
Neurology, Laboratory, and Day Surgery.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Imaging Scheduler Job

The
Imaging Scheduler should have minimum
one year scheduling patients in a
medical setting or Imaging Support
experience
-
He/She
should possess minimum one year
experience working with EMR or RIS.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Imaging Scheduler Job
-
Post high
school clerical vocational training or
college course work
-
Medical
Terminology certification preferred.
