Lead Scheduler Job Description

 

 

 

Job Description:

The Lead Scheduler will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • The Lead Scheduler will develop CPM schedules for the project

  • Facilitate multi-company interactive planning sessions

  • Interface construction schedule with engineering schedule

  • The Lead Scheduler will review and oversight of contractor's schedules for assigned work scope

  • Update CPM schedules

  • Perform analysis of CPM schedules

  • The Lead Scheduler will recommend work-arounds and mitigation efforts to the team

  • Communicate schedule status to management regularly via formal meetings and reports

  • He/She will interact with engineering discipline leads & construction managers to understand issues and conflicts impacting schedule

  • The Lead Scheduler will coordinate earned value system with schedule updates.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Lead Scheduler Job

  • The Lead Scheduler should have 15+ years of experience
  • He/She should be expert in Primavera P6 software as a user
  • Possess extensive experience in engineering & construction processes and sequencing
  • The Lead Scheduler should have experience in construction management scheduling (using contractor's schedules)
  • He/She should have large capital project experience
  • Possess ability to operate well in a multi-company team environment
  • The Lead Scheduler must be excellent communicator and possess keen safety awareness.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Lead Scheduler Job

  •  BA or BS or related experience.
