• The Master Scheduler - Planner will plan and coordinate activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials in an ERP environment

• He/She will set production schedules to maximize production efficiencies and satisfy customer demands

• Revise schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, capacity and availability of workers, parts, material, machines and equipment

• The Master Scheduler - Planner will minimize machine setups

• Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from engineering departments

• He/She will maintain proper shipping, receiving inventory control records and procedures

• The Master Scheduler - Planner will ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels

• Review and plan requirements for acceptable inventory

• He/She will be responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well as coordinating global procurement efforts as appropriate

• The Master Scheduler - Planner will coordinate with finance/accounting on all matters involving inventory-carrying costs.

• The Master Scheduler - Planner should have 5+ years or equivalent experience
• He/She should have 5+ years experience in procurement
• He/She must have experience in a lean manufacturing environment
• The Master Scheduler - Planner must have experience purchasing for manufacturing environment
• Kanban experience a plus
• He/She must have scheduling experience in a high volume, high mix electronics, PCB, or job shop environment
• Pull system experience a plus
• Job Scope experience a plus
• The Master Scheduler - Planner must be experienced in windows based applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point
• Experienced in AS400 based ERP/MRP systems, Query based data mining tools
• The Master Scheduler - Planner should have experience in scheduling on both non-recurring development and recurring production programs.
