Materials Scheduler Job Description

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Materials Scheduler, reporting to a manager or head of a unit/department, will be responsible for the coordination of planning and scheduling of materials for specific Customer. 

Job Description:

The Materials Scheduler will perform all or some of the following Job description:

  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering

  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks

  • The Materials Scheduler may direct and lead the work of others.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill For Materials Scheduler Job

  • The Materials Scheduler must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • The Materials Scheduler should have a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Materials Scheduler Job

  • High school diploma with at least 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
