Job Summary:
The
Production Scheduler - Corn will be
responsible for supporting (Communication, Reporting,
Data analysis) the critical interface
between specific Seed Companies, Supply
Planning and Soybean and/ or Corn
Production Scheduling to develop variety
and site specific conditioning and
rework schedules.Job
Description:
The
Production Scheduler - Corn will perform
all or some of the following Job
description:
The
Production Scheduler will support the Conditioning and Rework
Processes through Communication, Report
Generation, Data Analysis, Modeling, MRP,
and Standard Operating Procedures
Development and enforcement
Establish conditioning and/or rework
goals by site to meet shipping goals and
ensure the utilization of capacities
Communicate the Carry-Over supply to
the Seed Company and after disposition
is determined by Seed Company, create a
rework schedule
The
Production Scheduler - will communicate the SKU level rework
schedule to QA Manager with the
appropriate storage types and IM
statuses assigned
Communicate rework schedule to sites,
update as needed and monitor progress of
rework
Identify the New crop supply available
to condition and provide the commercial
data at a weekly conditioning meeting
with the Seed Company
The
Production Scheduler will ensure FET and Seed Care requests are
met
Communicate conditioning
instructions to Scheduling Analyst
and facilitate any adjustments
required
The
Production Scheduler will work with Interplant
Manager to properly
schedule hybrids to better plan for
Interplant transfers
Partner with IS/Business leaders in
creating an innovative and cooperative
approach to Production Scheduling
The
Production Scheduler will support special projects for Corn
Production Scheduling as needed.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge /
Skill For Production Scheduler - Corn Job

The
Production Scheduler should possess broad understanding of IS systems and
tools (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Experience or knowledge of SAP system
-
Proven communications ability
including presentations and written
materials

The
Production Scheduler should have 2 years experience in
scheduling
-
He/She
should have knowledge of Strategy and Planning, Business Relationship Management, Partnership and Alliance Management, Learning and Development

The
Production Scheduler should have the
ability to set direction, create edge, drive results,
and liberate potential
He/She
should have the ability to successfully serve as
liaison between Supply Chain and Seed
Companies to create a conditioning and
rework schedule to meet shipping demand
Ability to successfully identify and
communicate conditioning schedules to
ensure the product is positioned by site
to meet SKU shipping demand
The
Production Scheduler should be able to
build a high level of credibility with
the business and Supply Chain sites; add
value that is tactical and strategic
He/She
should be able to
utilize capacities while putting
shippable product on the floor
Should
possess the ability to sit and work at desk on
computer
Ability to work days, evenings and
weekends
The
Production Scheduler
must be able to travel by car or plane
He/She
should have the
ability to operate standard office
equipment including phone, fax, copier
and computer.
Minimum Education Requirements /
Certification / Licensure For
Production Scheduler - Corn Job

B.S. Degree, or comparable
experience in related field.
